One Art Campus Collaborators & Partners
Just a few months ago Plant&People opened its doors here at One Art. Since then they have taught classes, had events, and brought even more plant power to our village. This mother-daughter team have created such a beautiful shop that sells not only houseplants, but gardening supplies, wellness tool, books and more.

Plant&People grew out of a notion to support the community with wellness and self-care tools. The trauma in our communities continues to have lasting effects. We believe adding more plants to our lifestyles and caring for plants can offer us an alternative to managing stress. There are little to no plant nurseries and wellness spots in Black communities. We ask "why do we always have to leave our communities to heal?" We are a Black-owned mother and daughter plant loving duo, looking to share our passion for a plant life in our own community.

InI Collective came to be after Netfah and Malaika envisioned the need for a vibration-raising and centralized space to shop year-round for holistic, handcrafted creations. InI is the vision of a BOWO / BIPOC (Black Owned Woman Owned/ Black Indigenous People of Color) partnership whose mission is to offer intentionally curated artisanal gifts and holistic adornment in a healing and transformational setting. It’s a place where you can shop your conscience and be part of a creative community that shares your lifestyle, all while supporting small heart-based businesses.
