OASIS WAY WEST
A COLLABORATION WITH BIOPHILLY
OASIS WAY WEST
Oasis Way West is a biophilic installation that will bring the healing aspects of One Art onto the streets of West Philly with flowing water, mosaics and bottle-art planters filled with lavender, and blooming vines climbing a rope trellis draped on the facade.
The mission of Oasis Way West is to bring healing to people as they walk through the blossoming biophillic walls of One Art. During these challenging times facing our world, we seek to mitigate some of the stress inflicted upon our community by offering a moment of solace, a place of refuge and a oasis of peace.
Rest for a moment. Take a deep breath, smelling the calming lavender, hear the peaceful waterfalls, see flowers cascading down the walls and enjoy the uplifting art.
BIOPHILLY
bioPhilly is a biophilic habitat stewardship organization that promotes the important link between human health and access to biodiverse nature in the city. bioPhilly happily contributes biophilic design, research and fundraising to this project.
